FUN FACTS PROJECT LOADING PROBLEM

I installed Android Studio. When I first create the project FUN FACTS AND SELECT THE BLANK ACTIVITY TEMPLATE AND SELECT FINISH, THE PROJECT DOES NOT LOAD. I GET A RUN TIME EXCEPTION ERROR AND A FAILED TO CREATE DIRECTORY ERROR MESSAGE. CAN ANYBODY HELP, I TRIED UNINSTALLING AND RE INSTALLING ANDROID STUDIO BUT I STILL GET SAME ERROR.
MY INSTALLATION DIRECTORY ROOT IS, C:\USERS\GUNDUREDDY\ANDROIDSTUDIOPROJECTS\FUNFACTS

Maybe you do not have the Java JDK installed? have you tried re-installing java or checking to see if you have java installed? you have to download and install Java, aswell as android studios. I believe. Link - http://www.oracle.com/us/downloads/index.html to check if java is installed, open command prompt like he tells you to, and then type java -version. for some reason javac -version did not work for me
