8,537 PointsFuture Nav Menu Plans?
I'm new here, but I've been diving into almost everything there is to offer on web design. One thing that has troubled me is how to make a clean navigation drop down menu. Are there plans for such subjects in the future? Also, I am wondering if anyone knows of some good resources online that may help me get started on different styles of menus.

Courses Plus Student 17,771 PointsThere are 2 good frameworks to look at for Nav construction and those are Twitter Bootstrap and Zurb Foundation. This wont necessarily 'teach' you how to build one from scratch, but it is a helpful way to see how a common nav bar is constructed, and reverse engineer it to learn about how it was created. Many designers use these as navigation bar foundations and customize them with their own CSS and JS to make their nav bar fit their particular needs. Zurb Foundation: http://foundation.zurb.com/docs/navigation.php Twitter Bootstrap: http://twitter.github.com/bootstrap/components.html#navbar

They are in no way affiliated with the W3C

Courses Plus Student 17,771 Points@James Interesting, I took a "Intro to HTML & CSS" Class at University of California San Diego and the teacher pretty much referenced W3Schools the entire time as where the students should go to look up syntax standards. Had no idea there was a controversy behind it.
