game wont launch

when I go to preview its just a black screen, even if I haven't edited any code

Hi Josh,

Hmm, hard to tell what the problem is, though from what you're describing, it looks like it's just not loading the JavaScript altogether. (The game works for me on this page, but I can replicate the issue if I take the JavaScript script references out of the HTML file.)
