game.py question

Please look at my code. When I am trying it on my Python shell, it is succeeding but it is failing the Challenge Task 1 of 1, with the following message:

"Bummer! Score didn't increase correctly. Expected [0,1], got [0,0]"

Here is my issue with this message: Aren't we expecting [1,0] instead of [0,1]

game.py
class Game:
  def __init__(self):
    self.current_score = [0, 0]
  def score(self,player):
    if(player==1):
        self.current_score[0]=1

Try this:

class Game:
    def __init__(self):
        self.current_score = [0, 0]

    def score(self, player):
        if player == 1:
            self.current_score[0] += 1
        elif player == 2:
            self.current_score[1] += 1
