Get 'not defined' instead of throw error for a non-number that is not formatted like a string.

const getRandomNumber = (lower, upper) => {
  if (isNaN(lower) || isNaN(upper)) {
       throw Error('Both arguments must be numbers.');
    }
  return Math.floor(Math.random() * (upper - lower + 1)) + lower;
};

console.log(getRandomNumber(1, 5));
console.log(getRandomNumber(1, jjj));

I am just curious why I only get my throw error if my string is in quotation marks? is isNaN that specific. I jjj considered a number vs. 'jjj'?

Thanks.

Pretty sure jjj is treated as an undefined variable.
