Treehouse Moderator 68,457 PointsThe error is caused by using the module name datetime
as a variable name. I modified your code and it passes:
import datetime
def far_away(timedlta):
dtime = timedlta + datetime.datetime.now()
return dtime

2,437 PointsThanks Chris, it worked but you said : "The error is caused by using the module name daterimr as a variable name." what is that -- daterimr. It will be great if you kindly explain that. Thank you again.

Treehouse Moderator 68,457 PointsWhen you imported
datetime
it becomes an object listed in the current module namespace of objects.Then when you assign to a variable of the same name
datetime
you overwrite the import in the namespace and create a local variable in its place.Af Mondal
