Getting help is really dodgy with treehouse. even with profanity in your question it take too long.

getting help is bad

banana.py
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes = available.split(";")
menu = "Our available flavors are: {}."
display_menu = sundaes

Almost all of the forum moderators are volunteers and while we may be geographically dispersed, coverage can be hit our miss. A response time of a few hours is fairly quick. Some questions can take a day or two to get a response depending on the question complexity and whose available. There are no assigned coverage times or days. Thank you for your understanding!!

The rest of the forum participants are fellow students who are looking to reinforce what they've learned by helping others. Answering questions on the forum is a great skills review! And it helps earn points!

Let's break down Task 3

  • Combine the sundaes list into a new variable named display_menu, where each item in the list is rejoined together by a comma and a space (", ").
# using join
display_menu = ", ".join(sundaes)
  • Then reassign the menu variable to use the existing variable and .format() to replace the placeholder with the new string in display_menu.
menu = menu.format(display_menu)

Hope this helps. Post back if you need more help. Good luck!
