Given the height and width of a wall in inches, calculate the area in feet and assign it to a constant named areaInFee

Hello, I wrote this:

// the height and width of a wall let height = 120.0 * 12 let width = 144.0 * 12 let area = width * height let areaInFeet= Double (area)

but i guess it is wrong;( I decided to convert all in feet...

area.swift
// the height and width of a wall
let height = 120.0 * 12
let width = 144.0  * 12
let area = width * height
let areaInFeet= Double (area)

Hi Alice,

To convert from inches to feet you need to divide by 12.

The solution should look something like:

let height = 120.0 // in inches
let width = 144.0 // in inches
let areaInFeet = (height / 12) * (width / 12)

Hope that helps!

Steve.

Hello Steve, Thanks! Later i saw the error:) Have a nice day,

Alice
