31,602 PointsHey Reagen,
good job, you almost got it right! The only problem in your code is that the stored property tag
in the Post
struct has the type Tag
and not String
. That means that you have to give it this type and also when you create an instance of Post
in firstPost
note that you have to create an instance of Tag
for the tag parameter and pass it the name as an argument. Lastly you also have to get the tag's name via dot-notation in the description
function by writing tag.name
.
Like so:
struct Tag {
let name: String
}
struct Post {
let title: String
let author: String
let tag: Tag
func description() -> String {
return "\(title) by \(author). Filed under \(tag.name)"
}
}
let firstPost = Post(title: "iOSDevelopment", author: "Apple", tag: Tag(name: "Swift"))
let postDescription = firstPost.description()
I hope that helps, good luck! :)
