Hi Alexandru,

Take a look at the directions again: "Select all links inside the unordered list with the ID gallery and assign them to the variable galleryLinks."

So the first thing you need to select is the element that has the ID "gallery". Then you need to select the links that are descendants of that element.

Here is how I coded it:

let galleryLinks = document.querySelectorAll('#gallery a');

I think it also might be possible that you were working on task #3 in the challenge and accidentally wrote over what you had done for task #2 since you are referencing the "footer" in your code on line two. Happens to everyone!

Be careful when you get to task 3 and assigning the footerImages variable, you need to do more than just select the footer element, you need to select the descendant images.
