What is Hack Reactor?
Hack Reactor is a 12-week software engineering course in San Francisco.
For more information please visit their website. After researching their program quite extensively, I think they would be a good fit for me. I want to see if anyone else is either a Hack Reactor graduate or has considered attending as well as their thoughts on the school.
Our Goal: You’ll begin Hack Reactor with a feeling of excitement and anticipation. Twelve weeks later, you’ll follow the footsteps of our trailblazing alumni, taking the methodologies and best practices you perfected at our coding bootcamp to your next job. We’ve built world class software engineering curriculum and programming courses. However, Hack Reactor is, above all else, a world-class learning environment.

2,857 PointsI went through a coding school myself and can say that it was helpful - but do be careful when making a decision, because some schools are better than others!
First, you should read more Hack Reactor Review and other coding bootcamp reviews as well. These alumni testimonials are very helpful information for prospective students as it provides an insider's perspective on different schools.
Second, you should read the articles on switchup.org as they publish articles and tips for prospective students and it contains a directory of all the online/offline schools.
Finally, other than Hack Reactor, there are many other cheaper options out there that can get you to your end goal. It all depends on your: a) time frame b) financial situation c) career goals
Try to balance those three aspects. Online courses like Treehouse can take you pretty far. If you supplement with some part-time or full-time in person classes - you can certainly get to the level required to get a junior dev job.
Best of luck!
www.switchup.org has a lot of info on coding bootcamps and online courses that you will find helpful when deciding between coding schools.
