Halp Challenge Task 2 of 2 Inject the posts object into your template, naming it "posts".

'use strict';

var express = require('express'),
  posts = require('./mock/posts.json');

var app = express();

app.set('view engine', 'jade');
app.set('views', __dirname + '/templates')

app.get('/', function(req, res){
  res.render('main', {post: post, name: 'posts'});
  //res.render('post', {post: post});
  //res.render('post', {blogPost: post, anotherKey: 'string value'});
});

app.listen(3000, function() {
  console.log("The frontend server is running on port 3000!");

Dry Answer ...

var app = express();

app.set('view engine', 'jade'); app.set('views', __dirname + '/templates');

app.get('/', function(req, res){ res.render('main') });

This is very confusing using "posts" in this context. Makes me think it is something to do with the GET/POST requests rather being like the prompt/hint interpolation we've just been looking at.

You almost have it. you just need to pass the object posts: posts.

'use strict';

var express = require('express'),
  posts = require('./mock/posts.json');

var app = express();

app.set('view engine', 'jade');
app.set('views', __dirname + '/templates')

app.get('/', function(req, res){
  res.render('main', {posts: posts});
  //res.render('post', {post: post});
  //res.render('post', {blogPost: post, anotherKey: 'string value'});
});

app.listen(3000, function() {
  console.log("The frontend server is running on port 3000!");
});

I hope this helps
