General Discussion

Has anyone made a website or improved with just the material they took in with the free trial?

I'm in college and I'm just looking for resources to keep me busy throughout the summer. With that in mind I do not have the money to keep paying every month. If i just do as much as i can with the free trial will i be able to create websites on a novice level such as blogs or galleries?

yes But have to work hard!

Gotcha! I plan to pay for it but there's no guarantee. As for hard working, well.. I learn from sun up to sun down each day. Thanks for the reply, greatly appreciate it.

Treehouse offers discounted rates for college students. I think it's $9.99 if I am not mistaken. You can cram as much as possible but it's best to learn something practice learn some more and practice more so I would say at least 2-3 months to get a really good grasp on the material. After that it's a matter of reading documentation for languages And you should be fine.

If you're relatively new to web development and such - yes.

I watched your videos man! Keep up the good work!

Also, check with your public library. Treehouse works with public libraries, if your library participates and you have a good standing account you can have access to their silver membership for a discounted amount or free.

Contact Treehouse directly, that way they will tell you if there is a participating library in your area.
