Hello Swati Narayan

As KRIS NIKOLAISEN has requested please paste your code.

anyway this is how I worked out the challenge

// I have imported a java.io.Console for you, it is named console.
String firstExample = "hello";
String secondExample = "hello";
String thirdExample = "HELLO";
//first challenge I used String class equals() method to check on equality
if(firstExample.equals(secondExample)){

console.printf("first is equal to second");

}
  //second challenge I used String class equalsIgnoreCase method to disregard smallcaps and uppercase letters
  if(firstExample.equalsIgnoreCase(thirdExample)){

  console.printf("first and third are the same ignoring case");

  }

Thank you! i was able to fix my code eventually. Appreciate the prompt help from the community
