18,202 PointsHEEEELP! I cannot pass the challenge!
Can anyone please help me out here?
I am testing this on chrome console and I do get the desired result. But in the challenge is not accepted. Here is my answer:
var genericGreet = function(name, mood) {
name = name || "you";
mood = mood || "good";
return "Hello " + name + ", my name is " + this.name +
" and I am in a " + mood + " mood!";
};
var andrew = {
name: "Andrew"
}
var args1 = ["Michael", "awesome", ":)"];
var greeting = genericGreet;
genericGreet.apply(andrew, args1);

22,403 PointsYou should combine last 2 lines. You call genericGreet with context of andrew and array with arguments "arg1", then you store result in the variable greeting:
var greeting = genericGreet.apply(andrew, args1);

26,892 PointsHi Christina:
Try calling it through the greeting variable you declared, so
greeting.apply(andrew, args1);
I believe that should make the test pass.
