14,228 PointsHello. Could someone tell me new "Introducing JavaScript" releasing on July 17 will be using ES6 standards?
Didn't see anywhere mentioned that also couldn't find a separate course on ES6. Having doubts if I should wait for the release, building the game sounds exciting;) or get look for somewhere else (open for suggestions). Cheers.

224,848 PointsIt sounds like you would enjoy the Introducing ES2015 course, which covers all of the new syntax. "ES2015" is another name for "ES6", so this might indeed be the "separate course on ES6" you were looking for.
Also, I might expect that much of what an introductory course might cover would still be the same in ES6 as before. I would bet that the ES2015 course will still be a better resource to learn about the new parts.

224,848 PointsThe forum is a great place to get help from other students, but may not be the most expedient (or even certain) way to contact the staff. And it seems likely that only the staff could answer your original question before the new course goes into QA.
You might want to ask your question directly to staff using the info on the Support page. It would be nice if you share anything you learn here for the benefit of other curious students.
