JavaScript jQuery Basics Introducing jQuery Using text() and html()

Hello, I continue to get incorrect code error, for the following entry, any suggestions?

You've just learned how to use the jQuery methods text() and html(). Use the appropriate jQuery method to select the h1 element by its class name and set its contents to "Student <span>Profile</span>".

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html lang="en">
    <h1 class="profile-header"></h1>
    <p class="profile-text"></p>

    <script src="app.js"></script>
$(".profile-text").text("I am a web developer");
$(".profile-header").html("Student <span>Profile</span>";

Hi Raedown,

It looks like your code is erroring due to not closing the html() method parenthesis in app.js line 2. Give it a go and let us know if that works. Cheers,

Thank you Daniel! It did, I realized it after I posted the question.
