We just saw how adding a Button generates the XML for us. Now let's write the XML by hand. Start simple by adding a Button element. Copy and paste the TextView element and just change 'TextView' to 'Button'.

14,483 PointsHi Lyric,
Break down the task and it's pretty straight forward
1) Copy and paste the TextView element. So it pretty much looks like this after you copy
<RelativeLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="match_parent" >
<TextView
android:layout_width="wrap_content"
android:layout_height="wrap_content" />
<TextView
android:layout_width="wrap_content"
android:layout_height="wrap_content" />
</RelativeLayout>
2) Just change 'TextView' to 'Button'. So in the duplicate textView just change the keyword textView to Button and you are good to go
<RelativeLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="match_parent" >
<TextView
android:layout_width="wrap_content"
android:layout_height="wrap_content" />
<Button
android:layout_width="wrap_content"
android:layout_height="wrap_content" />
</RelativeLayout>
Hope this helps
