Help

I don't understand....

parameters.swift
func greeting (person: String) {
    var person = "Tom"

    println("Hello \(person)")
}

What exactly dont you understand?

I assume you're being asked to pass a string into the function, which would mean the following

func greeting (person: String) {

    println("Hello \(person)")
}

greeting("Tom")

Am i along the right tracks?

What your attempting to do is create a separate variable called person. Its looking for you to call the greeting function with just the string "Tom":

func greeting(person: String) {
    println("Hello \(person)")
}

greeting("Tom")
