Hi

It looks as if your getting a little tangled with returning your AlertDialog. You still have the return null statement in your code so when the code executes this the method stops and returns (in your case with the null value) hwat we want to do is replace this return null with the AlertDialog you have created.

By using the method .create() off of the AlertDialog.Builder Class you can return an AlertDialog object and store this in a variable (I know these .Builder examples can get a little confusing but they do pop up in a few places), this is what you should then return, the full code examples to pass all 4 challenges are below (or have a rethink and try for yourself if you'd like).
