help! Bummer! Type the value for the 'morePuppies' string exactly as specified in the instructions.
why it says that?
Button loadPuppiesButton = (Button) findViewById(R.id.puppiesButton); Resources resources=getResources(); String morePuppies=resources.getString(R.string.morePuppies); loadPuppiesButton.setText(morePuppies);
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <resources> <string name="morePuppies">"See More Puppies"</string> </resources>
You are defining a string within the angle brackets. You don't need to include the inverted commas too:
<string name="morePuppies">See More Puppies</string>
That should do it!
