The expression the challenge refers to is this bit of code: tiles.indexOf(tile) != -1; if will return true or false on it's own so instead of using it in an if statement you can return it directly like this:

public boolean hasTile(char tile) {
  return tiles.indexOf(tile) != -1;
}

Hi there,

If you're conviced that your expression is correct; just return it!

return tiles.indexOf(tile) != -1;

(I'll check it now - I used >= 0 rather than != -1) Edit: works fine - good work!
