Help me out here

I honestly don't know what to do

mapping.py
TILES = ('-', ' ', '-', ' ', '-', '||',
         '_', '|', '_', '|', '_', '|', '||',
         '&', ' ', '_', ' ', '||',
         ' ', ' ', ' ', '^', ' ', '||'
)
for tile in tiles:
    print(tile, end='||')

Let's break down the challenge:

  • I need you to loop through TILES and print out each item. :point_right: loop through TILES not "tiles"
  • Print each item on the same line... :point_right: Use end='' to keep things on the same line.
  • ...unless the item is a double pipe (||). :point_right: Add an if statement to check if item is double pipe
  • In that case, instead of printing the item, print a new line (\n). ;point_right: if it is double pipe, print a new line. This can be simply done with print() or print('\n', end='')
  • Use the end argument to print() to control whether things print on a new line or not.
