Help QA a new course: JavaScript Array Iteration Methods

Hello everyone :)

We have a new course coming out that teaches array iteration methods in JavaScript, and we'd love to have some help beta testing it.

The QA process (beta testing) is a time for people to spot any glaring mistakes, spelling mistakes, broken links, mistakes in teachers notes, clarification on code challenge and quiz questioning. And any other feedback.

There are a few other things to know. Progress isn't recorded on the account so you won't get a check mark. Badges and completion emails won't get sent. You also need to manually go to the next stage of the course. Those are the quirks of QA mode.

Please use the following email to provide feedback -- javascript@teamtreehouse.com. Please don't talk about the course here on the Community forum until it's officially released - this is to avoid confusion.

If all this sounds good, and you can complete the course and get us feedback by next Tuesday, October 24th, please respond below, letting us know you're interested. I'll let you know when the invites have been sent and if you've been selected.

Happy Coding! Joel

Hello Joel! I'm Shayne, a Full Stack Developer working for Webbed Sphere Inc currently and am highly interested in your newly introduced course. I'd love to have the pleasure of being one of your first QA testers for the Javascript Array Iteration Methods course and give you my feedback. I always put hours into coding both at work and at home so it should be no problem for me to finish the course on a deadline. I am an expert in many languages so I could help find mistakes in teacher notes, quiz questions, and be sure that each problem on the code challenges are clear, crisp, and ready to be pushed live for other programmers like myself.

Thanks for this opportunity, ~Shayne

Shayne,

Thanks for volunteering to QA this course, but unfortunately you can't QA a course with a trial account.

Thanks ~James

That's unfortunate, I already had signed up for the paid subscription not sure why it put me on the trial period. I guess it may be because I have a newer account. On my end there's not much I can do to change that however it does say that the payment will go through on the 22nd of October. Which means it may be still possible to help QA this course with the deadline being on the 24th of October. If it is possible I would still like to help QA this course, however if its not I'm sure i'll see it in the treehouse library soon :)

Thanks again, ~Shayne

Just a note, i'm now a verified/paid account so hopefully I'll be able to QA at least in the future :)

That's great news Shayne! Thanks again for your willingness to help with QA even if it didn't work out this time.

I'm willing to QA this if you still have spots.
