[Help!] Trouble with the if-and logical operators

Here's my challenge: From a range of values from 1 to 100, how many numbers are both odd, and a multiple of 7?

My job is to write an if statement inside the for loop to carry out the desired checks.

If the number is indeed both an odd number and a multiple of 7, append the value to the results array provided.

My Xcode compiler keeps on mentioning the error that % returns an immutable value...I know I'm supposed to insert the var n somewhere, but I'm not familiar with the syntax, would appreciate some help!

logicalOperators.swift
var results: [Int] = []

for n in 1...100 {
    // Enter your code below
    if (n%2 = 0) && (n%7 = 0){
        results.append(n)
        n++

    // End code
}

Couple of things:

  1. You are missing a "}" for your if statement
  2. The for loop will take care of iterating for you so you don't need the "n++"
  3. A single "=" is used to assign variables and constants. If you are looking to compare values for a logical operator remember to use the "==" or "!=" for the not condition.

Hope that helps!

Thanks a lot Quinn! It worked after applying your advice and changing to n%2 !=0
