Help with beginner html coding challenge!

Hi. Iv'e been asked to:

  1. Link portfolio to "index.html"
  2. Link about to "about.html"
  3. Link contact to "contact.html"

What I wrote -

<header> <a href="index.html"> <h1>Nick Pettit</h1> <h2>Designer</h2> </a> <nav> <ul> <li><a herf="index.html">Portfolio</a></li> <li><a herf="about.html">About</a></li> <li><a herf="contact.html">Contact</a></li> </ul> </nav> </header>

Can any one tell me whats wrong with it?

THANK YOU!!!

Simple mistake...I've made it to. It should be href, not herf. If it helps to remember, it actually stands for hypertext reference.

Hi,

I believe its href not herf:

<ul>
<li><a href = "index.html"></a></li>
.....

Hi Chanan,

You have a simple typo, instead of href you have herf.

Happy coding.

I find spelling mistake called "herf" :)

It should be "href"

       <li><a href="index.html">Portfolio</a></li>
        <li><a href="about.html">About</a></li>
        <li><a href="contact.html">Contact</a></li>

You all rock. Thx for the quick response!
