help with super conditional challenge

can you help me out i'm stuck on the super conditional challenge and it keep saying, "There was an error with your code: SyntaxError: Parse error",

Hey Jonavan,

I see 2 possible causes for a syntax error:

  1. You have else twice in a row, so the second else will never fire.
  2. You are using a 'correct' variable which isn't defined.

As far as this quiz goes, try to make your conditions make sense based on the strings.

You are missing the colon (;) after your today declaration. Declare today like this: var today = 'Friday';

You also have an undeclared variable (correct). Declare correct at the top, before it is used in the conditional statement. E.G. var correct = 7;

Let me know how that goes. Also, you might want to look at switching the last else if to an if. Hope this helps. :-)

is like this: if ( today = 'Friday') { alert("It's Friday, but I don't have enough money to go out")

}

In that case, change if ( today = 'Friday') to if ( today == 'Friday')
