please post the answer i tried a lot but i did't get

It is badly worded, but they wanted the images that the float was cleared on

  img:nth-child(3n+4) {
    clear: left;
    border-color: red;
  }

You've closed the media query and written the rest of the code outside the media query as a stand alone rule.

I just tried this and it worked

@media (min-width: 607px) {
  img {
   float: left;
  }

  img:nth-child(3n+4) {
  clear:left;
  }

  img[src*="cleared images"] {
  border-color: red;
}
  }

You could always add a border-color to the - img:nth-child(3n+4) - rule.
