67 PointsHi, does someone have an answer for my question?
Hello, I just started taking lessons today, starting with the "getting started" part of your courses. Well, on the second video, the man in the video was using a program called Textmate on a Mac to type up a document, and he wanted me to do the same. Well, i'm on windows 7, and apparently textmate is only for osx. What can I do? Is that set of videos for mac only?
Thanks

3,379 PointsA good alternative I love to use is Sublime Text for the windows platform for a generic use text editor/extensible IDE. Not sure if its required to use textmate on that course but if your looking for a good text editor Sublime Text or Notepad++ will serve you well.
