Hi, i wanted to know if it is possible to adapt some courses to people already familiar with the concept of programming.

For exemple, i'm currently on the ruby on rails track, this is very well design for people who don't code, but for those who know programming it is very long, i don't even work on the workspace for now (considering i just got out a php pool at my dev school...). So is it possible to suggest something to fasten the course? Just a suggestion ^^, have a good weekend everyone

The first few tutorial videos for any topic are intended for those who need to grasp the basics. I can completely understand your situation. I too felt that I was repeating the basics all over again when I first started here on Treehouse. But the best part is that the tutorial videos are all structured and categorised as beginner, intermediate or expert.

Just pick up one you think might suit your current skill set. Go through the contents and if it looks challenging enough go ahead with it, else go to a session prior to that. I still do this as it ensures I sweep over my basics while devoting more time on things that are completely new to learn.

Hope this helps

thing is i don't think we can skip content on the tracks :/ so even if i don't watch the videos (what i'm currently doing) i still have to intend quizz and coding challenges.
