10,725 PointsA good way to practice is to chose sites that you like and try to clone them. When I was starting, I cloned the BBC News. Not entirely, just the Header, navigation and the main news section. You can learn a lot doing that.

You may build gallery where you can keep some of your photos. And then a simple contact form. That way, you will have a practice on one hand and you will also have your own personal website ready in the end.
