Android Build a Simple Android App (retired 2014) Pretty Little Things Animating the Answer

Hi, the answerLabel is not animating each time I press the Button it's only be animated at the first time !!

what should I do, I've written the code exactly as the video said ..!! but the Text animation is only animated at the first time... please help !!

and this is the code:

private void animateAnswer() { AlphaAnimation fadeInAnimation = new AlphaAnimation(0, 1); fadeInAnimation.setDuration(2000); fadeInAnimation.setFillAfter(true); mAnswerLabel.setAnimation(fadeInAnimation); }

Hi, I had the same issue, but using this line of code fixed the problem:

 AlphaAnimation fadeInAnimation = new AlphaAnimation(0, 1);
 fadeInAnimation.setDuration(1500);
 fadeInAnimation.setFillAfter(true);
 mAnswerLabel.clearAnimation();// HERE************************
 mAnswerLabel.setAnimation(fadeInAnimation);
