How can i create separate if statement?

You actually have created two separate "If" statements, but apparently the "elseif" part is confusing the challenge checker.

Convert the "elseif"s to ordinary "else"s to pass the challenge.

Perhaps your conversion was incomplete. Don't forget that a plain "else" does not take a conditional expression.

Simply change the "elseif"s to "else" (and remove the conditional clause). For example:

//...
} elseif ($studentOneGPA < 4.0) {  // instead of this
} else {                           // you would have this
