I´m stuck in the challenge task 4 of 5:

Create a new rule that targets the span element inside .intro. Give the span element a bold font weight and an italic font style.

You're not targeting the span inside the intro, you just need to target the span element in your stylesheet. Note the second line of code separating the intro from the intro span. The code below passed.

.intro { font-size:1.25em; line-height:1.6; }

.intro span { font-weight:bold; font-style:italic; }

.intro span{ font-style: italic; font-weight: bold; }

the font-weight might not be what they're looking for

i try it but still wrong. Look it:

Bummer! Make sure you're selecting the intro class, and setting an em font-size value equal to 20px.

.intro span{ font-size: 1.25em; line-height: 1.6; font-style: italic; font-weight: bold; }

Did you add the font weight and style? I don't see it in your example.

You're more than welcome Cecilia. It's great when chicks rock tech! Good luck with your continued success.

i am stuck on this....

Challenge Task 4 of 5

Create a new rule that targets the span element inside .intro. Give the span element a bold font weight and an italic font style.

.intro { font-size: 1.25em; line-height: 1.6; }

.intro span { font-weight: bold; font-style: italic; }

none of this works, i have researched and everyone provides the same answer but it doesn't work for me.

.intro { font-size: 1.25em; line-height:1.6; }

.intro span { font-weight:bold; font-style: italic; }

this worked for whatever reason, i just reset the quiz and came back to it and its all good now :)
