Do you mean shortening urls?

You would use a shorten-er such as bitly.

Well this particular photo, given a photo filter of some sorts using an image editing app on a phone or an action in Photoshop. I really couldn't see someone going through the trouble of using adjustment layers in Photoshop to achieve this typical photo effect. If you're interested in learning photo editing and/or the Photoshop interface in general, I would recommend the following youtube channels: Andrei Oprinca, Phlearn, Howard Pinsky, and BakaArts. They all produce quality videos on accomplishing descent photo effects using Photoshop. If you need any help you can contact me on Skype @ Mr.Hostee
