Hi,

The answer is:

$(".external").attr("target", "_blank");

Basically how this code works is it selects all elements with class "external" and sets their "target" attribute to "_blank". If you want to, you can read more about attr() in JQuery documentation.

imad mohahammad remember that .attr() is a getter and a setter as Andrew says.

var getter = $(".external").attr("target");
// The variable 'getter' would be the 'target' value

var setter = $(".external").attr("target", "_blank");
// The variable 'setter' would be setting the target's value to _blank
