Hi Norhan, as you saw during the video and as you will see in the future, printf or println and many others are methods. Simplifying...methods are as a set of rule, they can accept parameters and return a result. For that reason you have to write them with ( ) parenthesis. To solve this exercise you have to write like this:

printf(firstName);

Remember that every command need to end with ;
