How did he get the responseText?

at 7:00 He made typed responseText into the innerHTML. Where did he get the response text from. I know that he got the text from the sidebar, but I don't know why and where he got responseText

Hey!

responseText is just a property of the XMLHttpRequest object that you can parse into text for your program. Here's a useful resource on request properties.

Hope this helps!
