how do I assign the value for key "UK" to a constant named ukCurrency?

First I put the following,

Let currencies = ["US":"Dollar", "UK":"Pound", "JP":"Yen"]

dictionaries.swift
let currencies = ["US":"Dollar", "UK":"Pound", "JP":"Yen"]
Let ukCurrency = ["UK"]

There are several problems in your code, the first one is that when you are declaring a constant using "let", you do not capitalise the l, and also, you are taking the data from the constant "currencies", so your code should look something like this:

let currencies = ["US":"Dollar", "UK":"Pound", "JP":"Yen"]
let ukCurrency = currencies["UK"]

Thank you! Yes I know about the capital, sorry was not clear. But the rest I did not know! Thank you.
