iOS Swift Basics (retired) Collections What is a Dictionary?

How do i assign this to a constant named currencies. what am i missing?

:( i know this is so simple.

dictionaries.swift
var currencies = ["US": "Dollar", "UK": "Pounds", "JP": "Yen" ]

1 Answer

This is perfect with 2 exceptions. First, the value for the key "UK" needs to be "Pound" not "Pounds". Second, the dictionary needs to be declared as a constant using the keyword 'let', not var.
