how do i center my label on the Xcode storyboard?

I don't get the blue background or the guidelines when i drag the label onto the storyboard. i want to center it?

You will need to drag the label towards the center of the View in order to see the vertical and horizontal guide lines. Once you drag the label towards the center the lines should appear - adjust accordingly if you do not see either the horizontal or vertical.
