JavaScript JavaScript and the DOM Traversing the DOM Parent Traversal

How do I complete task 3 of 3 so I can keep using Treehouse? It's been an hour.

I've tried dozens of different ways of getting the parent node and nothing has worked in one hour +.

app.js
const removeMe = document.querySelector('removeMe');
let parent = document.parentNode();
index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
    <head>
        <title>Parent Traversal</title>
    </head>
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="style.css" />
    <body>
        <ul>
            <li>Hello</li>
            <li>Hi</li>
            <li class="remove_me">Good bye!</li>
            <li>Howdy</li>
        </ul>
        <script src="app.js"></script>
    </body>
</html>

Hey, First off the query selector is actually ('.remove_me') and I believe you want to change it to: let parent = removeMe.parentNode;

I think that works
