how do i convert an item using anchor elements?

<!DOCTYPE html>
    <title>Lists and Links</title>
    <li<A> href="cakes.html">Cakes</li>
  <li href="pies.html">Pies</li>
<li href="cand.html">Candy</li>

Your code should look something like this

  <li><a href="cakes.html">cakes</a></li>

and so forth.

You're headed in the right direction, but have a few issues:

  • the anchor tags ("<a>" and "</a>") must both be completely inside (between) the list item tags
  • the "href" attributes go with the anchors instead of the list items

So for example, the converted first item might look like this:

    <li><a href="cakes.html">Cakes</a></li>
