how do i divide the profit and quantity?

i can seem to get the profit and quantity to divide so i can get the price per unit

script.js
var wholesalePrice = 5.45;
var retailPrice = 9.99;
var quantity = 47;
var salesTotal = 9.99* 47;
var profit = 9.99 * 47 - 5.45 * 47;
var profitPerUnit = 9.99 * 47 - 5.45 *47 /47 ;

"Create one last variable name profitPerUnit. In that variable store the amount of profit you made for each unit. You can calculate this by dividing the profit by the quantity." these are the instruction.The tasks before i encounter this one was to simply multiply the quantity (47) and the retail price (9.99) with a new variable called " var salesTotal" . Then i had to input the sales total into a new variable named "profit" then subtract the wholesaleprice (5.45) and also multiply by quantity (47) which i did and cleared.

Divide the variable that holds the profit by the variable that holds the quantity.

Let me know if this helps here

I did but i think that is incorrect. I know that is the correct symbol that defines division, but for some reason it wont clear? I also wrote out the variables instead of placing the numbers and that didn't seem to work.
