How do I set a second gradient stop and direction?

I looked up css gradients online but couldn't figure out how to do this.

style.css
/* Complete the challenge by writing CSS below */
.main-header {
  background-image: linear-gradient(steelblue, darkslateblue);
}
index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>
    <title>Lake Tahoe</title>
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="page.css">
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="style.css">
  </head>
  <body>
    <header id="top" class="main-header">
      <span class="title">Journey Through the Sierra Nevada Mountains</span>
      <h1 class="main-heading">Lake Tahoe, California</h1>
    </header>

        <div class="primary-content">
            <p class="intro">

            </p>
            <a class="callout" href="#more">Find out more</a>
        </div><!-- End .primary-content -->
  </body>
</html>

Hi Loren Cardella,

It looks like you have an extra comma after 90%. Remove the comma and you're all set!

Hope this helps. :)

You have a second stop already (darkslateblue), you just need to add a position to it. That's covered in the Gradients: Color Stops video, from about time index 1:45.

Setting a direction is covered in the Gradients video, at around 2:20.

I re-watched both videos and they went over my head as much as the first time.

background-image: linear-gradient(steelblue, darkslateblue 90%, to top);

background-image: linear-gradient(to top steelblue, darkslateblue 90%,);

background-image: linear-gradient(to top, steelblue, darkslateblue 90%,);

All three of these versions give an error in Workspaces.
