how do I use the & to nest a selector in this challenge? what is wrong with my code?

Hi Caroline! -

You're very close. Since you're trying to create ".icn-success" and you're using the & nested in .icn, you don't include that when naming the selector, so that portion of your code would look like this:

.icn {
  font-size: 1.25em;

  &-success {
  color: green;
  }
}
