how do i void this and start over? i did this way before i started at treehouse and have stuff installed in wrong places

i used homebrew to install rbenv before, and ruby, but if i try to install certain things with rbenv they won't work.

Blast the whole rbenv installation to begin from scratch:

  1. Delete references to rbenv from your ~/.bash_profile
  2. Nuke the rbenv root directory (default: ~/.rbenv). sudo rm -rf ~/.rbenv You're done!

I would recommend following installation guide here: https://github.com/sstephenson/rbenv#installation
