To make any real amount of money, you need millions per month. Google and YouTube pay 1 or 2 cents per click to you so for a million clicks, you'll get $10,000 dollars but the click rate is about 0.2% so you need 20 million or is it 200 million visitors to get that $10,000.

The more traffic, the more likely you are to get those clicks. It takes time, but it will work out if you put constant time and effort into it.

1,492 PointsYou'll get paid the next month your balance becomes $100 in Google Adsense. In mean time, Google AdSense would ask you to provide your contact & tax details. If you still dont have AdSense account, it'll be very very difficult to get it approved for new website. (you need to have large websites/published content to get approval from Google AdSense) In case of Amazon affiliate or similar program you can also redeem the earned commission in terms of gift cards. & Use the same gift cards for your future purchase.

3,557 PointsThis really isnt true. If you have a niche site in a high value market, ad revenue can be high on just 10's of thousands of unique visitors per month. If your site is about Justin Beiber or something similar, then yes you needs hundreds of thousands of visitors at a minimum.
