How does Jason clear his screen?

Jason doesn't type a command when clearing his workspaces screen so he must be pressing a hotkey, but I don't remember hearing it mentioned.

Keep in mind that he does this while in IRB, I am aware that you can just type clear when you are outside of it.

You can also do system('clear'). It should be noted that this will leave => true at the top of the console.
