4,167 PointsHow far will the Android Development track get me?
I am currently learning how to develop android apps using the Android Devlopment track. However I am curious as to how much I will actually be able to do after I complete the track. Will I know how to use API's? Will I know how to make a sophisticated game? Will I have a basic understanding of coding in Android?

Treehouse TeacherI couldn't have said it better than Victor Ochoa! (Thanks for the great feedback.) The current Android track covers the fundamentals with the end goal of making you ready for an entry-level Android developer job or creating your own indie apps. We don't cover anything related to gaming yet, but look for more on that front in the future. 7,582 PointsThe track is more focused on really drilling you with fundamentals while at the same time exposing you to good practices. I THOUGHT I was pretty good with Android before I began the track but now I feel lightyears of that ahead now that I've almost completed it. In short, you'll have WAY more than a basic understanding when you're a few courses into the track. Ben did an awesome job at demystifying various methods and files that you would've encountered had you gone into Android development blindly. I would simply just keep chipping away at the courses. You'll learn about APIs, GET & POST requests, and TONS more down the road. By the end of it, your only limitation should be your imagination and what you took away from the courses.
